Hi

You could use the QDFRTVFD (Retrieve Display File Description) system API to
determine the display file characteristics and build a source member you can
then change and recompile.

Scott Clement provided an example of using this API last year and you can
find it in the archives at
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200603/msg00044.html

Hope it helps

Jonathan

Since it is an IBM system object, you are not likely to be able to find the
source. On my V5R1 box it says that the system it was created on is 00000000
and the source file is S0000000238 or some such in QTEMP.

You can get a lot of information by running DSPFD and DSPFFD against the
file.

Where can I find the source for this screen? This is the "Change
