Hi list!
I have a file on the iSeries with the appropriate fields, sizes, and such.
Then I am using the iSeries/Access ODBC driver on my PC to create a link
table in Access, and then create an update query in Access that will write
records to the iSeries via ODBC.
My issue is that it is EXTREMELY SLOW. My ODBC Configuration is as
follows:
a) PACKAGES Tab: Nothing is checked.
b) PERFORMANCE Tab: ENABLE DATA COMPRESSION is the only one checked.
c) TRANSLATION Tab: Convert binary data 65535 is checked
d) DIAGNOSTIC Tab: Nothing is checked.
I do not know what else to check. Any hints of how to speed up this?
TIA,
Peter Vidal
