Q:What car manufacturers were represented in NASCAR in (its inaugural
year)1949? I know there was Ford, Chrysler, Buick, Cadillac, Lincoln,
Mercury and Oldsmobile. Was there another make?
In 1949, the following manufacturers were represented in NASCAR:
Lincoln, Buick, Oldsmobile, Nash, Plymouth, Ford, Hudson, Chrysler,
Kaiser, Mercury, Cadillac and Studebaker.
