It's not...nobody ever bothered to port over the more
popular unix products that do mail. IBM has always taken
a bassacwards approach to software.

They can come up with some of the best operating systems
ever built but application code has NEVER been their thing.

They can deliver some very complex apps from the operations
side but don't ask them to do something as simple as mail.

That one single application has been a real deal breaker
for the box. I'll never understand that.

The conversation always starts out with :

(1) Web server ---sure no sweat
(2) Mail --- uhhhhh yes.. sort of..kind of..not really... etc,etc
