Doug,

Sample programmes with UIM can be found here:

(use Printer friendly on top right to see the whole article). The code
(mostly RPG III) is part in most of the articles. Each have a single listed
list, however.

So, that does not answer your question. It may help you in coding.

Some thoughts:
Perhaps it is possible to use the QUA APIs to fill the panel and create
multiple rows, perhaps defining two different records. Beware, I have not
tried any of this.

Carel Teijgeler

I would agree the UIM menu leaves a lot to be desired; actually I'd rather
eat my ex-wifes cooking than read that manual.....

Subject: Re: UIM Menus

Doug,

I've asked this question, too, and even (horrors) pulled out the UIM
manual. There doesn't appear to be any support for multi-column UIM
menus. IBM menus are UIM (such as CMDCMD), and I have never come across a
multi-column menu in the IBM repertoire.

What I would like to see (but never expect after this long) is a STRSDA
equivalent for UIM. If there's such a function in WDSc or Code, I've
completely missed it.

By default its just one column that the user can scroll through, whereas
I am looking to create a two column menu...similar to what I could do with
the old system/36 menus.
