I attended a couple of classes on PHP at Common. It looks like Zend has
now included a set of functions similar to JT400.

I do know that you can execute command line commands so even if there
isn't a "native" way to do this yet, there are ways to do it.

I'm thinking that there should be a way to interact with i5/os in the
same way JT400 provides.
