I attended great classes on the 515 and 525, on IP telephony, and on iSCSI -
the new direction using standard interfaces to replace IXS and IXA - exciting
stuff - instead of 3 slots for an IXS, just think about 1 slot to manage up to
8 diskless xSeries boxes or blades.

There were also some classes on using .Net to the system i - my boss did them -
heh!!

If you ~must~ know, the Series/1 name is not GONE!!

At the innovation awards, the MC announced the System/1 was the current
name
(I think he forgot to make the i lowercase, and read the 'I' as a '1').

Right now, we are starting a rumor that the next System i will next be
named
the System II - or is that a System/2.
