Jim

I attended great classes on the 515 and 525, on IP telephony, and on iSCSI -
the new direction using standard interfaces to replace IXS and IXA - exciting
stuff - instead of 3 slots for an IXS, just think about 1 slot to manage up to
8 diskless xSeries boxes or blades.

There were also some classes on using .Net to the system i - my boss did them -
heh!!

Aside from the after hours, can anyone speak to the content of the sessions?
Was there updated material in the sessions?
New sessions on latest stuff?
More hands on or lab sessions?
For those of us who fund Common expenses personally, this is important.

Don,

If you ~must~ know, the Series/1 name is not GONE!!

At the innovation awards, the MC announced the System/1 was the current
name
(I think he forgot to make the i lowercase, and read the 'I' as a '1').

Right now, we are starting a rumor that the next System i will next be
named
the System II - or is that a System/2.

You have been warned!
Trevor

This is something that REALLY NEEDS to go the way of the Series/1.
