We tried for iSocial^^2 (iSocial squared) and that stuck right up till
everyone got there. Some board member guy went around whipping up
dissent for our new name and the masses voted 'Cuds 2 forever.'
It was a great Cuds 2 though no matter what the name. A fantastic wrap
up to a fantastic conference.
I for one felt the community portion of the conference was up several
levels over past conferences. One measure of that was the record amounts
awarded in the 50/25/25 raffles for the COMMON foundation. You don't get
record amounts without good crowds at the events. All the iSocial
events were very well attended. Many things to do and give aways and
food at nearly all of them. There was even an excellent crowd at MOM,
perhaps twice or more what has been in recent conferences by my guess.
The Main event party on Thursday was awesome - they gave away a 50" Sony
HDTV!! Imagine the feeling COMMON President Randy Dufault had when they
drew his number for the TV!!! He gave it back of course and a new
winner was drawn. But there was Trevor on the stage looking for the
winner while Randy is holding up the wnning ticket right next to him!
Classic.

I think Larry told me that name was voted down. Of course, he called me in
the middle of the night, so I might be wrong. :-))
