I just got my response from IBM:

*IPXD hasn't exsisted on the RSTCFG since R510, however the R530 code of
objectconnect is still putting it in when it builds the RSTCFG command.
Subject APAR was closed as UR1 (fixed in next release) and was fixed in
V5R4.

Guess I'll have to wait until July when I upgrade our systems to V5R4 for
that to work.

No, there is no IPX object. If you use SAVRSTCFG with OBJTYPE(*ALL) for
any
object, like a device description for a printer, the remote side will fail
with that error.
