Don,
The COMMON attendees are being communicated with about this. If it is your
first time, you will not see the words CUDS or BOFS - except in places where
it says (formerly>>>) for your personal benefit.
And, you will get all of this in your registration packet.
Or online:

http://common.org/conferences/2007/annual/mainevent.html
http://common.org/conferences/2007/annual/siglunch.html
(OK, so I have to get them to update this page:
http://common.org/about/acronyms.html)
Besides, this IS your first time to the COMMON Annual conference!
I guess moaning about it will make us go back to the 'good old days'?
Seriously, if you have not noticed these changes, you have not been reading
anything coming out of COMMON - just assuming it is all the same! Surprise,
surprise!
Besides, why would we keep the same old format if we want to do cool new
things? When you arrive, check out the prize for the iCaN Have Fun
program...

Bill,
The solution here is simple: Communicate with your conference attendees. I
didn't know what it was at my first conference either...
Just something to chew on... :)
See ya Saturday night dude! :)
