I'm going to re-group and re-consider all of my options - now that I am
much more informed. One thing I know for SURE - this list is one
valuable resource! I am very grateful for the patience shown and the
advice and encouragement given, and for each and every response.

`Don,
A little late in the thread.
If you are going to use a trigger, on what file are you going to add it?
If you intend to send an e-mail for each item in a new PO you will flood
their mailbox, when one mail should have suffice. Is it not a better
soultion (define "better") to call a programme a t the close of the PGM
to send an e-mail with all the dat of the PO just maintained?
Just my 2 Euro cents.

Carel Teijgeler

One of our mfg. outsourcing suppliers would like to know whenever we
create/modify a P.O. (BPCS HPH/HPO) against their vendor number.
Although I've never done this, I was wondering if a trigger could be
assigned to these files, then at least an email, or email with say a pdf
or excel file attachment, would be automatically sent to their company.
