If you're going to use RUNSQLSTM you can consolidate all of the files in one
swoop. Just use UNION operator and union-ize SELECTs from all of the files
you have.

"I'm curious as to why you need to do this."

Hi Alan. I am consolidating a file located in different sites into a new
standard one, local version. While consolidating, any duplicate values
will be placed on an "error" file and I want to build this error file with
the same record layout as the input file I can keep all values intact.

"Would it help solve your problem if you left the "k" off the F-spec in
the RPG program? That does the same thing, at least for that RPG
program."

Greetings Booth. I do not want to use and RPG pgm for this.

"One way could be to use RUNSQLSTM ..."
Thanks Elvis; sounds like the solution I need.

Thanks all!
