The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
This is probably a no-brainer for you AS400 gurus, but it's something I
have not done yet. We're in the process up setting up for our HA
installation, and one of the requirements is for our AS400 to access the
Internet (to send reports, download PTFs, etc.). I know I probably have
to add a route to the routing table, but beyond that I'm not sure what
else needs to be done.
Here's a bit of info on our setup:
AS400 IP Address - 192.168.0.20
Gateway - 192.168.0.2
Firewall - 192.168.0.141
DNS Server - 192.168.0.23
Based on this info, what do I need to add to our i5 to allow it to see
external IP addresses? Through the wizard on Navigator, it added a
route (*DFTROUTE), but it doesn't appear to have solved the problem.
When I check the routes, here's what is in our tables:
Route Subnet Next Route
Destination Mask Hop Available
127.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 *DIRECT *YES
192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 *DIRECT *YES
192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 *DIRECT *YES
192.168.0.6 *HOST 192.168.0.6 *YES
192.168.200.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.2 *YES
224.0.0.0 240.0.0.0 *DIRECT *YES
224.0.0.0 240.0.0.0 *DIRECT *YES
224.0.0.0 240.0.0.0 *DIRECT *YES
*DFTROUTE *NONE 192.168.0.2 *YES
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!
