Depends on which 170 you have. Frankie is a 170 and he runs V5R3 just ducky. We run several websites, FTP servers, development and testing and a full Domino instance with no issues. Now load up V5R3 on a 128MB 170 with 73 cpw and yes you will learn 'SLOW'.

Depends on your definition of DR or HA is. A new model is going to require V5R4. A 170 will limp screaming to the hills at the mere
mention of that. Some, if not all, HA vendors will not support older releases.
