If IBM can figure out how to make this work, you can can
be assured the rest of the product line will follow in my
opinion.

I think this is a "fishing trip" to see how it will be
accepted. If the customers go along with it, you can bet
the rest of the family will follow. It would make no sense
to have two pricing models for any great length of time.

The 520 family is hardly "low end" since I suspect there
are far more 520's than any other machine installed.

The 515 is "low end" and is a almost direct replacement
for the older 150. This might be the real winner for a
LOT of customers.

There are far more 515 possibles than 550 possibles.
