Is anyone using identity management, but without single sign-on?
We want to manage a person's many user identifiers (Windows AD, iSeries,
Hyperion, Kronos, etc.) but without using SSO. I saw something from
Tivoli flash across my desk briefly.
Boss wants to manage IDs, and especially workflowing new hires and
terms. Shut down the holes especially in termination process and
notification of user ID removal. Database to store various system's and
the person's logon identity.
What's the price range on something like Tivoli identity manager? Again,
boss looking for "inexpensive" but don't know what that means ($1k,
$10k).
