I believe the topic you're looking for is EIM (Enterprise Identity
Mapping).

There are some guys on this list that use EIM, maybe they could provide
more insights.

Subject: Microsoft/Active Directory equivalent to Netware Enhanced
Integration

We use product option 25 (NetWare Enhanced Integration)
of OS/400. It provides an NLM (think DLL) that runs on our
NetWare servers and synchronizes passwords on both systems.

It works by providing a bunch of commands that allow us to
enroll iSeries users into Novell from iSeries command lines.

It creates users in the correct NetWare context with user ids,
passwords,
and names the same as their iSeries equivalents, and when
the user changes their password on the iSeries it is automatically
changed in NetWare.

We want to set up Microsoft Active Directory and do the same
thing, but searches for 'Active Directory Integration' don't seem
yield anything useful.

Where would I look?

Thanks,
Lance
