I see these options:

Service Configuration Main Menu

Select one of the following:

1. Create service configuration
2. Change service configuration
3. Delete service configuration
4. Verify service configuration


But exploring them I see no mention of or parameters for *PRIMARY or
*BACKUP configurations (???)

Ken,

Try using the GO SERVICE menu on the green screen on the 2nd screen is
option #18. When using that option and the create function it allows you
to create either a *primary or *backup config. It also lets you handle
proxy servers etc...

Is it possible to configure a support connection to IBM (ECS) so it
would use a dial-up connection if the internet VPN connection is not
accessible?

It looks like you can only configure it for Internet OR dial-up but not
both.

Hopefully I'm missing something because it would sure make sense to be
able to have a backup connection if the regular connection failed...
