The 3.5" Cheetah (146GB, 15K, 3GB/s SAS) was introduced in October of
2005.
HP has 300GB 15K drives at 3.5". But you're right that there are no 2.5"
drives; HP's highest capacity 2.5" drive is also 73GB.

Hmmmm. The IBM 40K1044 is supposedly a 3.5" 146GB 15K SAS drive. And they
even supposedly have a 300GB model. I wonder if these are the same drives
as the HP?
