We try to have all of our scheduled jobs run as QSYSOPR (who will never
leave the company). If a user wants a particular report from that job,
we can set it up to either e-mail them the report as a .pdf, or send the
spool file to his/her user ID via SNADS. There are a few stragglers that
are running under a "regular" user profile, but we are usually aware of
when their profiles are disabled and we change the job schedule entry to
run under somebody else (preferably the aforementioned QSYSOPR) before
the old profile is deleted.

Subject: Job Scheduler - User question

What happens if the user who scheduled a job is removed from the system?
Is
there a way to change one user to another? Changing the owner of
objects
does not work.

I did a quick check of the archives, but found no answer.

Thanks!
