The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Not exactly SQL syntax, but you can go into a file "dbu filename" and
then press F15 for a Search/Replace screen. Not aware of any sorting
other than changing logicals or selecting to sort by arrival vs key.
I think the ops navigator has a dbu plugin - maybe that's where there's
some sort of sql piece?

Subject: use SQL within DBU 6.0???
We have DBU 6.0 on the green screen on a V5R3 box. Once upon a time
ago, I thought I remembered reading that there was a way to use SQL
statements within DBU to do record selection and sorting. Or was that a
dream?
(For the inevitable question: Why don't we have the latest DBU? I
dunno.
The sys admins are a couple of hundred miles away and ignore most of our
requests like this.)
