Re: HMC System Attention Light

I knew the STRSST was off, and I thought Justin was joking... hehe.

It ended up being something about the host/domain name setup that the HMC
was throwing an occasional error about (according to support).  Not sure
why it finally threw an orange light, but we couldn't find anything else
wrong.

This was found by looking thru the 'Manage Serviceable Events' menu under
the 'Service Focal Point' menu.

NO! This will not get you anywhere near the attention light on the HMC!
This is i5/OS level.

 Justin was right - flip out the lightpath diagnostics panel and it will
point out the offended componant.
