I have a barcode and it just fits on the label with no room to spare.
I
was thinking of shrinking it a touch to give it some more room. I have
changed the BY instruction and it had no affect. I would appreciate
some
comments from those more experienced.

With the code below, I changed the ^BY from 2,3 to 2,2 and there was no
change with the label.

The zpl manual (free from Zebra's website if you don't already have it.
Or it might be the user's guide...its been a while.) goes into this
issue, and long story short, it's a matter of floating point ratio
calculations vs fixed dot sizes. Not all combinations of width/ratio are
possible depending on what print head is installed in the printer and
how much data you are encoding.

Like I said though, the ZPL manual goes into it, and even provides the
equations/charts/etc to figure out how (or if possible) to get the
ratio/size you want.
