I will be home. IBM is putting in the hardware; I'm just configuring the disk! I'm doing all my stuff remotely. Be sure that the STRASPBAL command will be submitted though!! Joel B. Make sure when you go home for the night to kick-off a STRASPBAL to get the data scattered. Justin C. It's fine - there's absolutely no reason to have the thing down the whole time. Do it while it's running, there won't be any troubles. Justin C. Greetings, I am looking at adding 15 new drives to one of my 520s this weekend. It has been suggested that I go ahead and bring our system back up after the drives are installed, then go into SST and start RAID5 and add the disks to the ASP. I've always done that using DST while the system is down. I know it is possible to start RAID5 and add to the ASP using SST but I was wanting some input from people who have done this while their system is running. How much fun is doing this going to be?? Thanks. Joel B.
