Okay, time for a sockets newbie question. I have multiple jobs executing the
same program. This program uses the various sockets a.p.i.s to establish a
connect to a remote server. I noticed that the socket a.p.i. returned a 0 in
two of the jobs.

It seems to me each job should have a different value returned from socket, but
I don't really know. It seems like 0 is a valid value since anything less than
0 is considered an error.

So I'm wondering whether anyone can confirm that 0 is a valid value and whether
different jobs should have different socket i.d.s.

Thank you.
