I have an old 9406 S20 running V4R3 that has a PC for a console. (WIN95
and only 24mb of RAM!) The PC has just died. Perhaps someone can help be
confirm the situation I believe I am in:

The part number of the cable connecting the PC to the AS400 is a 44H7504.
My research shows this as the "Client Access Console cable", as opposed to
cable 97H7557 which would be the part number for "Operations Console
cable". So I must have had Client Access Console running on this PC. (I
see these cables are not interchangeable).

It appears Client Access Express does not support Client Access Console.
So I must have had Client Access for Windows 95/NT installed. Does this
sound right?

If so, it sounds like I have two choices: buy the new cable and install
Operations Console, or install CA 95/NT instead and use my existing cable.
Which leads me to my next question - is there anyone in the Chicago area
that happens to still have these install CD's? Or someone out there who
could send me a copy?

Thanks in advance,
