Why not update file in batch -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi 

I wrote simple program which write actual date (only one record to some
temporary file) And problem is that when I call it interactively - it works,
but when I submit batch call (or use job scheduler) it not works - I mean
record is not added to file. Do you have any idea why?
File is defined as output.
