Well, that was quite enlightening, and FREAKING disappointing!!! 1 - It won't mess with NWSDs that are varied on and active. There's 2.6TB of space. They didn't., by any chance, just mean NWSDs and not the storage areas also did they? 2 - It won't mess with journals and journal receivers. There's 332GB. (Wait, that's only prior to V5R3. Good thing I'm on a supported version of OS.) Now, does it only move journals, or, will it move receivers also? 3 - It won't mess with any objects in use. I suppose that includes IFS files like all of our Domino data? If all this is true, then running STRASPBAL *USAGE on a system that is not dedicated is pretty worthless, eh? Also, found the CHKASPBAL command CHKASPBAL No units are selected for end allocation. ASP balancing is not active for ASP 1. Rob Berendt
