        I've got one of those old 720s also but I think I will be able

Don't know if they've already devalued to zero but an additional
argument in pushing management to upgrade certain boxes now is that they
are not supported in the next release.  Trade them out before they
devalue further.  Those of you that like cheap obsolete hardware should
be getting more on the market soon.  I know that we'll be dumping our
270's.
