Last summer (July) we did an SAP executive briefing up in Rochester.  At
the time there were 3000+ plus installations of SAP on the System i.  I
think you will find a higher portion of them in Europe as opposed to the
USA.  If you search through the customer success stories you will find a
decent amount of information (Woolworth, Panasonic, Starwood, Plastipak,
Pressman Toys, Intersport, etc.).

Ron Schmerbauch is the development team leader for SAP up in Rochester.
He can probably give you some good insight as well.
