You are correct! It turns out that my profile had a problem that was
Limiting my capabilities. I was on a DDM Server Authority List that
Somehow was overriding my user authorities. When I was removed from
List, I was able to create the DDMF over the logical..

Thanks,
Charlie

Yo can setup DDM on a LF in the same way as on PF (just set the name of LF
object). We do it a lot.

I am creating an application that is going to be accessing files that
exist
on multiple LPAR's most of the DDM links I am creating are straight
forward. However, one file I need to access by its logical file. I do
not have the physical files key information from the LPAR the
application needs to run only the logical key values. The files is 85
million records in size and would have a performance concern accessing
it other than by a key value.

So, the question: Is there anyway to set up a DDM link on a Logical
File? If not, does anyone have a suggestion on how to access this file
from an application running from a different LPAR?
