Thanks. Changing it to HP4 and IBMSNMPDEV seems to have worked. I would
like a copy of the WSC option. However, the system is still at V4R5 so I
don't know if you will be able to send it to me. If yuo can, send it to

  IIRC, the key to getting this to work correctly was the printer error
  message parm. Seems that *INQ cased the printers to die all the time.
