Thanks. Changing it to HP4 and IBMSNMPDEV seems to have worked. I would like a copy of the WSC option. However, the system is still at V4R5 so I don't know if you will be able to send it to me. If yuo can, send it to albertyork@xxxxxxxxx Thanks again. I use it mostly to make the font a little bigger on landscape 132 column reports. (its hard getting old). If you would like it saved to a save file, email me directly. IIRC, the key to getting this to work correctly was the printer error message parm. Seems that *INQ cased the printers to die all the time. I have also had this issue printing to Ricoh printers as well. Disclaimer: YMMV. Let me know if you need more info. cjg Display Device Description DCF400 01/05/07 16:29:38 Device description . . . . . . . . : CANONPRINT Option . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *BASIC Category of device . . . . . . . . : *PRT Device class . . . . . . . . . . . : *LAN Device type . . . . . . . . . . . : 3812 Device model . . . . . . . . . . . : 1 LAN attachment . . . . . . . . . . : *IP Port number . . . . . . . . . . . : 9100 Physical attachment . . . . . . . : *DIRECT Online at IPL . . . . . . . . . . : *YES Font: Identifier . . . . . . . . . . . : 011 Point size . . . . . . . . . . . : *NONE Form feed . . . . . . . . . . . . : *AUTOCUT Separator drawer . . . . . . . . . : *FILE More... We are about to pull the plug on them for AS/400 output. Mostly I am looking for the *basics* of how you made them work, not necessarily the fine grit details -- although those would be appreciated as well [grin]. Darrell Darrell A.
