right now i dont have any session going between my pc and their i system or network, and no pc in their network has a session to my server (i have verified this).But the iNav connection screen on one of their pc's does still show my defined

Are you sure it's Management Central and not just the underlying communications job between your PC and the server? If you do a WRKOBJLCK JIM *USRPRF you should be able to find that job. Odds are high though that you'll have difficulty ending the jobs that have that lock, and keep your 5250 session going.
