In that case, it is probably not your communications. It's probably more an issue with NetServer itself. Frankly the i5 has performance issues with NetServer. The newer releases are supposed to have performance increases. But what we were using NetServer for we moved into an IXS card in the same i5 on the same lpar using the same disk drives. Much better performance. Windows just shines better for this sort of stuff.
