Quiet

no vendors could call with security so tight 
and even Santa got caught in a spam trap that night

Not a creature was stirring... not even a mouse.

The cables were hung by the router with care.

In hopes that a sign on screen soon would be there

The users were home all snug in their beds.

With visions of harried IT folks in their heads

The sysop with a kerchief and I in my cap.

Had just settled in for a long upgrade..

When out from the CEC there arose such a clatter!
