At least one problem is that "time" is either "money" or actual minutes taken from someone's life. David barely has time simply to monitor his lists.
And if 'members' are going to 'drive' anything, it's gonna be a total disaster. Look at what's happening right here, right now -- THIS post.
We can't even remember that this is Midrange-L and _NOT_ Midrange-Nontech. Just count the posts over the past week to determine the ratio of tech to non-tech in this list and then compare to what's been in Nontech for the same period.
Members driving content? We're kids. It's fun. (Well, speaking for myself.)
