Does anyone know if there is a product that will zip and unzip files on the
iSeries using something like winzip does for windows? Or can I simply use
Winzip in the IFS? I thought there used to be a native product called PKZip
that ran on the iSeries. Don't quite remember.

PKWare does have an i5/os product
(http://www.pkware.com/business_and_developers/compression/iseries/).

Also, if you have JAVA installed on your system, the 'jar' utility can
be used to create and manage zip files.
