Re: DNS Issues only in Batch?

That was my first thought.  It doesn't appear to be the
case.  But I am looking into it.  Dumps and job logs don't
seem to show this issue.

My main reason for believing this isn't the issue is my
program spits out errors like "error connecting to domain
xx.xx.xx.xx"  and the Return Code for the GetHostByName
API.  The domain in the error jog log has no garbage, etc
in it.

just overlooked... but it's weird.

I have an application that communicates with a server.

 One

a certain machine this program works fine interactive,

but

in batch, and only in batch and only for one particular
domain that we know of now, it has issues.  It won't
resolve the domain name.

The exact same program, just in batch with a particular
domain name.. can't resolve the IP address.

Any ideas?  :)
