In the as400 info center, under Programming->Java->Qshell
Link to infocenter is
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/index.jsp

Exact page is:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rzahz/intro.
htm

I'm not sure what the exact problem is, but qshell syntax is generally
very similar to AIX (or *NIX) syntax. To change directory, the command
is: cd

So, to go to /my/directory/structure/path, the command would be:
Cd /my/directory/structure/path.

Good luck :)

Joe

Subject: Re: Qshell command to change directory

Jerry,

I had some issues with that too. I'm not much on qshell, but if you use
the CHGCURDIR command before you go into qshell I think I remember this
working for me to get in the right directory.

I'm not having much luck finding the syntax for changing to a specific

directory using qshell.

Anyone know what it is and where to find a good reference for iSeries
qshell command syntax?

(Trendmicro's install instructions leave a lot to be desired. - my
question is cross posted in Domino400 too.)

Thanks!!
