V5R4 RPG and SQL

We upgraded over the weekend. I was looking forward to seeing how the IBM SQL group has finally gotten their integration with RPG ready for prime time. Instead, what I found is that they have completely ignored method scoping, and instead, are requiring host variables to be unique throughout the program. I thought for a while there we were going to get a world class programming environment. Instead, I find that stuff that worked (correctly imho) at V5R2, no longer works. What a crock! Don't the RPG and SQL groups both work for the same company? Just curious...
