There are also other aspects to it. like remote support, multiple systems etc and what slots are available to drive the card which are often more relevent to a machine with a production role as opposed to a development machine.

I wouldn't say a development machine is a great example of whether it is a good business decision or not, but I take your point :)

Why would a twinax terminal be a smarter business decision than a HMC ?
Other than in a small shop with no remote support required, no non-linux
partitioning requirements and only one system. In hat other circumstances
would it be a better choice ?
