I was finally able to get a working link. These studies are authored by
software vendors all the time.
For what it's worth. An IT director in this area blind copied me on a note
he sent to the columnist. Apparently the columnist wrote something
recently that set my friend off.
My friend told the columnist that he is cancelling all of his company's CW
subscriptions.

One thing to remember is that the study was authored by someone who
