All, Looking at the WRKACTJOB screen, I see the following: --------Elapsed--------- Opt Subsystem/Job Type Pool Pty CPU Int Rsp AuxIO CPU % SESSIONA INT 3 20 3.6 140 .0 413 .0 QPADEV0010 INT 3 20 .1 138 .0 259 .0 QAPDEV97 INT 3 20 4.6 135 .0 145 .0 QPADEV0013 INT 3 20 .4 123 .0 1275 .0 The help for the Elapsed -- Int column is: Elapsed Interactions - Help The elapsed number of interactions. This is the number of operator interactions (such as pressing the Enter key or a function key during the measurement time interval. I'm interested in looking at the same data via iNav's monitor or even better historical data using the "Graph History" functionality of iNav's monitor. I'm trying to get an idea of the number of active users of the system, where the definition of "Active User" is "users are judged to be active if they are pressing ENTER or using Fn keys 2 to 3 times a minute." The closest thing I see in iNav is Transaction Rate(Interactive), but I don't think that's going to give me what I'm looking for. Perhaps I could query the performance data files myself. Looking at QAPMJOBOS, I see the following field: JBNTR Number of transactions. Note: Certain i5/OS functions support the concept of a transaction. The definition of a transaction and the characteristics of a transaction are different depending on the type of job or the specific function of the job. For interactive jobs, display I/O transactions are counted. Is this what I want?
