That is true and hard to understand from my perspective.  I love the
presentations regarding performance, HMC, security, backup and recovery,
etc.  Our membership's attendance toward primarily programming subject
matter clearly reflects differently than my interests.

Oh, and as one other person stated, sys admin stuff is not really a big 
draw.
Like the Jim Oberholtzer performance one.  Those who were interested 
thought he was one of the best presentations in years.  But most people 
don't seem to care about the performance end, or it's someone else's 
responsibility.  Not that the belief is valid though.
Could drum up little to no interest in getting Al Barsa.  He's a great guy 
for a COMMON presentation, larger crowd and more sys admin's in 
attendance, and, more people who accept that part as part of their 
responsibilities also.  But our LUG just didn't seem interested.

But beating RPGLE or WDSC to death seems popular still.  Or the member 
company stuff like "how I got to the web".

I wonder how a presentation on a good workflow system we use in Domino 
would go over?  Bring in your non developer people like your quality 
managers, engineering managers, etc.  What do you think?
