We have our VPN service through Positive Networks and PC5250 will not connect through their web based webtop VPN. Using the applications part of webtop, connection is successful for iSeries Navigator but not PC5250. I tried accessing PC5250 using display emulator in iSeries Navigator and using the start-programs navigation by attempting access by IP not system name. Both result in a 658 with varying messages from local socket trying to connect to remote server/host 10.10.10.244 port 23 infinitely, local socket is connecting to remote server/host 10.10.10.244 port 23 or hostname not specified or not found. If I use the VPN thick client, PC5250 will connect. The problem is only occuring with the web based client. Does anyone have suggestions on what could be causing the PC5250 not able to connect problem?
