Subject: RE: Going from little to no journaling to MIMIX

We have journaling on all of our production tables thanks to iTera and
their Echo2 product for HA. I let iTera manage the receivers on both
machines but I keep the receivers out there for 45 days for research and
troubleshooting. The only problem so far has been some annoying
messages in the iTera logs. I just ignore them.

Subject: Re: Going from little to no journalling to MIMIX

I've tried to get journalling going for years on a lot of the files
here.
So far they've only turned it on a few files to catch some obscure
errors.
Boss was saying something like "...one of these days we'll have Mimix
and
we'll see what happens then...". Well that day is coming rapidly.

If I let Mimix manage all the receivers will I not be able to use it for

other tasks like:
- catching those obscure errors that may have happened in the last day
or
two
- rolling back some changes that the developer who forgot the WHERE
clause
in his SQL statement wants undone.
