We've already tried setting up a local account. That seemed to allow the request, but the application wasn't executed. The major difference between this server and the NT server we've been using is the use of Active Directories. I suspect that's messing us up somehow. Donald R. Fisher, III Project Manager RoomStore, Inc. (804) 784-7600 ext. 2124 dfisher@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <clip> I had a problem a while back and IBM and I went around and around. IIRC, if you have a local account on that server with the same authentication information, it will work fine. If you don't, then you need a GUEST local account on the server. Then your authentication should work fine. The problems is that your network Admin person won't like any of your ideas. I was working with an NT server, but I don't know how much that changes IBM's approach. It seems to me that they first needed to make a connection so they could exchange the actual authentication. And that had to be done through either a local account or a guest account. - Michael <clip>
