Re: Date manipulation in CL

   Try using Julian dates within the CVTDAT command. You'll need to plug in
   some logic for January back to December math, but it's pretty easy.
    
   Or, you could feed the system date to an RPG program, do the math, and
   then use the result the program feeds back out

     I have been searching google for some info on how to manipulate dates in
     CL
     but am coming up somewhat shorthanded.  Specifically, I am looking to
     extract the current system date, subtract a number of days to get a new
     date
     and then convert it to a string with the century..

     Similar to the following:

     Current system date: 10/26/2006

     Subtract 14 days: 10/12/2006

     Retrieve century: 06

     Convert date: 20061012

     I just have not been able to find much in the way of CL for this..any
     helpful links?
