I agree... and I'm not sure that it's necessary.  On my system, the
following SQL statement works just fine. I don't have to run CREATE
PROCEDURE

    CALL QCMDEXC('CLRPFM MYLIB/MYFILE',0000000019.00000)

Granted, the "create procedure" obviates the need to add all of the extra
zeroes to the length parameter, but it's not really required.


After I created the procedure, I still didn't know how to call it with the
parameters, so I looked at the SQL programmers guide again and saw the
(parm1, parm2) usage, without the PARM keyword, and using commas to separate
parameter values.  So, I tried it just like your example, with the
zero-filled length value, and it works just fine.
