Tomasz - who do you want to stop having the ability to edit what files/members? You may want to look into object security using the command GRTOBJAUT (Grant Object Authority). This way you can stop the public (*PUBLIC) from even seeing files/members, while allowing certain User Profiles and/or Group Profiles access for editing/browsing. Security on the AS/400-Iseries (or whatever its called now) can be quite extensive (and headache inducing). Hi Is it possible to turn off option 2 - edit source to disallow editing in PDM. Only browsing should be possible. Regards Tomasz Skorza -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing
